The Sacred Path Program
Preserving and Promoting The Native American Culture.
The Sacred Path Program is a unique blend of Native American culture, tradition, and education. Our program is currently available at The White Buffalo Academy located in Northern Missouri. Our program was developed for the purpose of aiding students who have difficulty comprehending schoolwork in a traditional classroom setting. Historically in certain cultures, such as Native Americans, tribal youth were taught in a "hands on, see and do" method . Tribal elders used nature as an important means for educating their children.
At The White Buffalo Academy we have assembled a group of individuals and a curriculum that understand and address this method of experiential learning. We have incorporated native tradition, culture, language, arts, and history into the basic core curriculum creating an exciting and culturally immersed program unlike any other.
